TERMS OF SERVICE

- ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By requesting an estimate, booking a project, or otherwise using the services of Florida Home Painting (“Company,” “we,” “our,” “us”), you (“Client,” “you”) agree to these Terms of Service and any written proposal we issue. - ESTIMATES AND SCOPE OF WORK
Written estimates are valid for 30 days.
Scope, colors, and materials are detailed in the proposal. Changes requested after acceptance may require a revised price and timeline. - SCHEDULING AND ACCESS
Project dates are reserved upon receipt of the signed proposal (or email approval) and any required deposit.
Client must provide clear access to work areas, water, and electricity. - DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT
50 percent deposit due at booking; balance due upon substantial completion.
Invoices unpaid after 10 days incur a 1.5 percent monthly finance charge (18 percent APR).
We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (3 percent processing fee may apply). - MATERIALS AND COLORS
We use premium paints (Sherwin-Williams, Behr, or equivalent) unless otherwise stated.
Client-approved colors are final; re-tinting or repainting requested after approval will be billed as a change order. - LIMITED WARRANTY
Interior and exterior paint: covered for 2 years against peeling or blistering due to workmanship.
Roof coatings: 5-year adhesion warranty when applied to a sound substrate.
Warranty is void if surfaces are damaged by acts of God, vandalism, or improper maintenance. - CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Cancel up to 5 business days before the start date for a full deposit refund.
Cancellations inside 5 days may forfeit the deposit to cover lost scheduling time.
Weather delays will be communicated promptly and rescheduled without penalty. - CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Remove fragile items, wall décor, and small furniture from work zones.
Keep children and pets clear of the work area.
Report any concerns in writing within 48 hours of project completion. - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, Company’s total liability shall not exceed the amount Client paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. Company is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content, photos, and logos are the property of Florida Home Painting and may not be reproduced without written consent. - GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation; failing that, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration in Okaloosa County, Florida. - CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Revised versions are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. - CONTACT
